Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Blitz ("Service"), operated by Rhoderick J. Beery III ("we," "our"). By using Blitz, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Blitz is a software platform that automates job searching and application submission. The Service uses AI to score job matches, generate cover letters, tailor resumes, and submit applications to employer career pages on your behalf.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in your target jurisdiction to use this Service. By using Blitz, you represent that the information you provide — including your resume, work history, and credentials — is accurate and truthful.

3. Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of all profile information, resume content, and application materials submitted through Blitz.
• You must not use the Service to submit false, fraudulent, or misleading job applications.
• You must not use one account to apply for jobs on behalf of multiple individuals.
• You must not reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service.
• You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated cover letters and resumes before they are submitted.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

The Pro plan is billed monthly at $19.00 USD. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are provided. Payments are processed by Stripe.

5. Free Tier Limitations

Free accounts are limited to 3 automated application submissions. Additional applications require a Pro subscription. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits at any time with notice.

6. AI-Generated Content

Blitz uses AI to generate cover letters and resume content. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving any content submitted to employers on your behalf. Blitz makes no guarantee that AI-generated content will result in job offers or interviews.

7. Third-Party Job Boards

Blitz submits applications to third-party employer websites on your behalf. We are not responsible for the terms, availability, or actions of those websites. Your use of employer career pages is subject to those employers' own terms of service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee job placement, interview callbacks, or any specific outcome from using the Service. Automated applications may fail due to CAPTCHA systems, website changes, or technical issues beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blitz's total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or at our discretion with 7 days' notice. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

We will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
